Today the development of life has been so high. All completely automatic. This is of course supported by the development of ever increasing electronic world alone.

Many high-tech equipment and automatic all-around of our lives. Everything is easier for us in this life. One of the tools that we discuss is the automatic hand dryers that we often find in modern restaurants like Mc Donald, KFC, etc. AW.

This tool is used to dry one's hands after washing hands with water. This tool is useful for our hands to be dry and we are more confident to leave the house to eat it.

The difference between a tool designed this with the tools already available in the market is that the tool is equipped with LCD. LCD Display 16 x 2 lines can be used for "advertising" or to show other information.



Objectives Writing

The purpose of writing this special report is to design a hand-drying device (Hand Dryer), which are automated and equipped with LCD display 2 lines. The existence of the LCD can be used for anything, for example to display "advertising" such as "Welcome to Mc Donald", "Get Discount till 10%" etc. or anything depending on needs.

This is of course economic value. So when people are dry hands, then that person can view the text-text "ads" or any information to be conveyed.





Because of the limited ability of the writer, then in writing this report the authors make special restrictions as follows.

1. Microcontroller will use technology as a major control on the simulation tool Automatic Hand Dryer.

2. Of microcontrollers that will be used is the microcontroller PIC16F84 / A

3. The system will use sensors Infrared sensors with the main components of Infra Red LED and Photodiode.

4. LCD will use text-based LCD with the ability of 2 lines x 16 characters.

5. As a dryer, will use the "machine" in standard Hair dryer.
